What can I expect when a surveyor shows up to inspect my home?

The inspections usually last from 1hr to 2hrs for an average size property, depending on whether it is a Homebuyers Survey or Building Survey.

The surveyor will start by inspecting the exterior of the property before going into any accessible roof void and then a room by room inspection.
