Buying a home is one of the most expensive purchases you will ever make. Therefore, you will benefit from an expert, independent report on the condition of your new home from Blake - Chartered Surveyors. Our Homebuyers Survey will assist you in making the right purchase for you. Our Building Survey will provide a more in depth report for buildings which are over 100 years old or in a poor state of repair.

We offer two kinds of survey: a Homebuyers Survey - without an open market valuation (Type 2) and a Building Survey (Type 3).

Both reports do not include an open market valuation. However, you may wish to conduct your own research for what a house is worth such as nethouseprices.co.uk. If you would like a value for insurance purposes, known as a house rebuild cost (the cost of rebuilding your home in the event of a fire etc), this is chargeable for a nominal fee when requested with a survey.

We provide Surveys for all properties old and new. Using 3.2 metre surveyor ladders we can access all areas of a property including flat roofs and flashings. Most defects can be hard to spot which is why we use 30x optical zoom cameras to provide high-quality records for your report.
